What a really great stay, nothing to complain about. Obliging staff, exceptional services, and awesome location just next door to Urban Wine Trail as well as the Pier, Harbor, downtown, Botanical Gardens in the 2 day stay. Appetising food selection. Efficient check-in, parking onsite.

Enjoyed the room with the comfiest bed of our trip, my bed was exceptionally comfortable. The location was amazing, minutes away from Ambassador Park. Stores and a small convenience store were right next door.

It was like a good book....don't judge a book by its cover. It may look like a small hotel but the rooms were amazing. We liked how everything and everywhere we needed to go was within walking distance. It was quiet and relaxing. The staff was amazing and leaves you a fresh loaf of banana bread along with a basket full of goodies. The office staff was very helpful in local eateries and knowledge about area activities.
The only thing I can say is the bed is extremely soft, which I loved, but my husband did not. If it was just me I would have stayed in bed the whole weekend....

We really enjoyed the large studio with its fully-equipped kitchen. It was exceptionally clean, nicely decorated, comfortable, and very quiet. The welcome basket of goodies included house-baked banana bread, fresh fruit, juices, and other snacks. The location is just about a block from the harbor, so we got a lovely sea breeze, yet were close enough to the downtown area for shopping, gourmet meals, and sight-seeing. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Have already recommended the HHI to friends.

Vintage and tidy rooms, wonderful views of the beach. Exceptionally comfortable beds. Great location within walking distance of many great eateries. Next to the harbor, the funk zone, state street, and the beach as well as various restaurants.

comfortable bed, delicious basket of goodies for breakfast, quaint antiques, a warm welcome and the feeling of being at a home away from home. While I didn't need the kitchenette on this trip, it was reasonably complete and will be used on future trips. Short walk to the beach and bikes available for use.

The HHI is small, single story motel. I had a junior suite and it was a little dark, but not uncomfortably so, and there was plenty of room and a fully equipped kitchen. I found it comfortable and nicely equipped for my three-night stay. It's close to the beach (1 blk) and the wharf, and it's in a quiet location. I appreciated the large urn full of fresh ground coffee provided, as well as the welcome basket, which was a very welcoming touch. And, the Wifi is very good, four bars in the room and 54mbs. And, the beds are really comfortable!
One night the unit on my left ran the TV a little loud, but not late enough to make me feel I had to knock on their door. Parking is a little 'tight', but manageable.

The room was lovely and spacious. It was a very quiet hotel, perfect for our needs. The staff was pleasant. The homemade banana nut bread was a perfect breakfast at the table by the big front window.
We only had plans to stay one night. Our stay was much too short. We wish we could have stayed much longer!
